Teak Cleaner & Teak Renovator (2 part system) has been designed specifically for cleaning teak wood on boat decks and home and garden teak furniture. This super Teak Cleaner removes stains, mould, grey and more from teak wood, then finish with Teak Renovator for maximum wow factor.

Wessex Chemical Factors' two part Teak Cleaning process includes a Teak Cleaner (part one) and a Teak Renovator (part two). Both products are suitable for use on teak boat decks, teak garden furniture, teak decking and other teak wood items. It is also safe to use on other hard woods but we would recommend a small test are is done first on any wood other than teak.

The Wessex teak cleaning process is designed to be easy, efficient and quick to use. Compared with traditional sanding, Wessex Teak Cleaner can dramatically reduce the amount of time needed to bring old, weathered teak wood back to its original colour.

The two stage process is pretty straightforward, and each part is used in the same way. If cleaning a teak deck, we have found that the best results are achieved when working in sections of approximately 1m, that way a uniform result can be achieved as there will be no danger of drying out between rinsing.

Wessex Teak Cleaner & Renovator is a full concentrate (always dilute with water). Just one bottle goes a long way. As a guideline we recommend one litre of each will clean in the region of 8-12 metres of teak depending on how badly weathered/stained the teak is.

Teak garden furniture: One litre of each is often sufficient for a table and 4 chairs.

Teak boat decks: One litre of each is sufficient for most boats up to 30 feet in length. A 60ft boat may require three/four litres of each part. Bigger boats or boats with high teak coverage and bad weathering/stains will require more.
